Kindle touch - Review

Ladies and Gentlemen,

You can recognize easily that I write much more than I read - still there are also people who read a lot... Therefore it is an interesting question what reading is like in 21st Century... First of all, you need a 21st Century dictionary...

Now: the basic concept is that the display of a computer is too "dynamic" to read books on it comfortably and to immerse yourself in these books... However books and newspapers and magazines printed on paper cost forests and space in your house (this is true even if your library is your treasury)... I had the idea that you could download books from the internet on your computer and then print the books at home... You could read the books in a folder as long as you are interested - then you can recycle the paper...

The inventors of Kindle had a better idea... You can download books, newspapers and magazines via Wi-Fi directly on a reading device (e-reading), you can hold this device comfortably in your hand like a book and you can store approx. 3,000 books on a Kindle - this is already a large library (of a life-time)...

Congratulations, Kindle! (Even if I could assemble my bookshelves in a creative way...)

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Rolls-Royce Experimental Electric - Black-Out

Ladies and Gentlemen,

There has been a black-out in our suburb from 08.00 to 16.00 today because of maintenance works... The review of a dear follower of Rolls-Royce's Electricluxury.com website is much more optimistic:

James

i think that i would be amazing to have an electric engine in a wonderful car like this, but for some owners i believe charging it may be an issue, as electric cars can take hours to fully charge. However, on the upside, it will be even quieter than the original 6.75 litre V12, and also much more economical, which then in turn makes it cheaper to run. IN my overall opinion, if you decide to put this new 102EX on sale, you should definitely keep the original phantom also on sale for customers who wish to use that model.

We love you, James!

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Musical Chairs

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Boeing Company did not develop a full double-deck airliner yet but it decided to enhance the legendary Boeing 747... (The Boeing Company made good decisions in case of the Boeing 777 already, newly with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner or the Boeing 737 MAX - the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental must be a very well succeeded airplane as well... It has got the most modern engines, wings and interiors - the lack of interest for the Jumbo Jet remains a mystery...)

So it seems to be a task of the Sales Department - and I don't mean it personally, of course - to find customers for the Jumbo Jet... Which is not an easy task... In harmony with the ingenious "Sunrise Livery" a Jumbo Jet really means welfare, success and prestige... However in times of a global recession (the economy of the European Union menaces to collapse according to some news) you cannot sell sensational luxury...

Except you (the USA) decide to support the world in crisis and to prevent the escalation of the crisis by a new "Marshall-Aid..." Practically I mean that the otherwise very friendly prise of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental of approx. USD 330 million should be reduced to USD 200 million... This had 2 major benefits:

a) you could keep thousands of jobs in the USA connected to the production of the Boeing 747 and
b) customers of the Jumbo Jet of Boeing could acquire an extremely useful and cutting-edge airliner easily so that their economy and the global economy, respectively could grow further...

National Tooth Care Month

Dear Children,

You don't like to brush your teeth, do you? It is because you are no grown-ups... Grown-ups live in a different way in many respects:

a) grown-ups have to communicate with other grown-ups so that they are taken seriously,
b) grown-ups want to kiss their loved ones and
c) grown-ups were already at the dentist's and they want to prevent the decay of their teeth...

If you changed your mind and you also want to brush your teeth I recommend you Signal Tooth Paste - it was tested on English children and it is quality actually...

Lufthansa - LIFTS HEARTS UP May 3rd 2012

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The first Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental arrived to launch airline customer Lufthansa... The Germans showed really much enthousiasm for their new airliner - they were even capable to bake a symbolic Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental cake...

I am German, too and I am also proud to have such a beautiful and useful Jumbo Jet in my backyard... As the this far 20 Boeing 747-8 Intercontinentals of Lufthansa arrive in Germany more and more fellow-countrymen of mine will have the same elevated feeling...

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Final Assembly

Ladies and Gentlemen,

"The screw-driver for passenger-seats, please..."
"Golden or silver?"
"The silver one - it is not a VIP-jet..."

"Man, you are tousled..."
"I am sorry! This is because the new GE engines are so silent..."
"You can have my comb..."

"I really like the starlight-carpets!"
"And now you can turn the airplane over..."
"Gosh! We have the sky with stars on the ceiling..."

"Another cup of tea?"
"No, thanks... But the galleys are o.k."
"Sure, they are... Let's test the laboratories now..."

Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team

9) In which Piglet is entirely surrounded by water
10) In which Christopher Robin gives a Pooh Party, and we say good-bye

The House at Pooh Corner:

1) In which a house is built at Pooh Corner for Eeyore
2) In which Tigger comes to the forest and has breakfast
3) In which a search is organdized, and Piglet meets the heffalump again
4) In which it is shown that Tiggers don't climb trees
5) In which Rabbit has a busy day, and we learn what Christopher Robin does in the mornings
6) In which Pooh invents a new game and Eeyore joins in
