The Magic Of Rolls-Royce June 25th 2013

Ladies and Gentlemen,

How can you imagine a Rolls-Royce owner in your neighbourhood? I try to be the perfect guy and I hope to be a friendly neighbour as well...

• I don't pull away the pieces of furniture...
• I don't pick up the carpet floor...
• I don't lay a parquet floor instead...
• I don't hang mirrors at the walls of the sitting room...
• I don't live in one of the bedrooms...
• I don't accept male guests...
• I don't listen to loud music...
• I don't weigh more than 170 lbs...
• I don't conceal...
• I don't take a shower for too long...
• I don't organise exhibitions...
• I don't whistle...

But it is the pucks...

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental - Hypersonic Nightmare

Ladies and Gentlemen,

When the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental is capable of reaching a top-speed of 10 Mach that means it can cross the Atlantic Ocean in 1 hour... It can reach from London to Los Angeles in 1.5 hours...

I am afraid that 1 - 1.5 hours of flight cannot be considered as an "experience..." You have got no time to admire the sun-lit or night sky, you cannot enjoy the view of the continents, of the seas or of the oceans beneath you - you cannot even watch a movie to the end, nor can you dine in peace... I would say that hypersonic flights are not enjoyable at all...

Of course, when more and more airplanes become capable of hypersonic speeds the iconic Concorde looses its meaning and function, too... The word "aircraft" would mean a machine like the "spring board" in sports: an airplane can fly as long as an hour - in the rest of time it is unused... (This has been the joke...)

Paris Air Show June 19th 2013

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am happy to announce that I am returning to regular blogging on the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental because I want to buy a Rolls-Royce... It is all clear that a the power of a machine is always added to the power of its owner - for example when it is about an axe or a pocket calculator or a washing machine... However the same rule is true for automobiles or home computers, too...

When you own a car you can reach from Budapest to Vienna in 2 hours (you are faster than the thunderstorm) or you can help your girl-friend to escape (because her parents know that she is living with a strong man and that way everything is all right, actually)... It is also true that machines give you tasks... You are not surprised that farm workers have to dress down horses each morning or that carpets have to be vacuumed in a house - of course, intelligent machines can give you complex tasks, as well... For example: take me to the car wash or study at this or that university... Of course, completing tasks makes you stronger again...

They say that I need a Rolls-Royce...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is a neck-and-neck-race between Airbus and Boeing (in an alphabetical order) at Le Bourget... Airbus have received an order for 20 A380s that are going to be leased to existing and future customers while The Boeing Company have received an order for 60 737 MAX passenger jets, for example... The Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner could be admired in a flying display...

Nothing and nobody are missing about an exciting air show...

Boeing At The Paris Air Show 2013

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This year's surprise of Boeing for the Paris Air Show was delivered by Mr. Randy Tinseth personally... The courageous blogger was the first man to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a hot air balloon - heated by one single candle... This was a heroic enterprise anyway, even if Mr. Randy Tinseth chose the shorter polar route towards the Le Bourget airport...

In the pictures you can see Randy's hot air balloon starting from Everett, WA and arriving in Paris, France, respectively...
