Ladies and Gentlemen,
I absolutely agree with the idea of constructing a Moon base by NASA and partners... A Moon base is one of the greatest achievements you can realise by rocket technology... Even if NASA has conducted an interstellar space flight rocket technology still remains interesting...
- by rocket technology you can build a space station orbiting Earth, a Moon base and later a Mars base, these accommodations in space belong to the life of our species which can survive and work in space, space habitats are a goal on their own and they are acting on life on Earth as well,
- space habitats are about making unliveable environments habitable - so they are crucial for interstellar space research,
- space habitats might inspire the further development of rocket technology, too (see: my blog post on space flights by Concorde)
I think that NASA's plan to build a Moon base which could be the continuation of a space station orbiting Earth and the outpost for a Mars base is ingenious (step-by-step advantage)... I wish it was designed, built and operated in an international cooperation which was already a sign of world peace in terms of the ISS...
Best wishes, Joseph de la Mikula and Team
